Norma Enfield and Ruth Ordoñez presented a program on Quilts of Valor, including a video and trunk show. If you know of a veteran who would like to receive a quilt, let Norma know. Quilts of Valor meets on the 3rd Saturday each month 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Elk's Lodge in Prescott Valley. Bring your machine and sewing supplies if you would like to participate in making Quilts of Valor.

Patsy Franko directed us on how to make Christmas stockings for the children of the Chino Valley School District. She had already made kits for us to sew together; it was an amazing day since we had so many sewists stay to help assemble the stockings. Roxanne presented information regarding items and classes available from the shop. Roxanne provided numerous examples of many lovely items and class samples. Roxanne and Sew N Sew support the green bags for kids and Lori Marley’s programs for Chino Valley students. Alterations and sewing machine repair and service also are available through the shop. |
