Christmas Party Time
Oh what a fun time we all had. Members really got into the party mood with different themed tables, some members dressed to match their theme and, of course, wonderful food and games!

Oh my gosh, our fun-loving members have outdone themselves again this year!
Everyone got into the spirit of things thoroughly enjoyed the fun, food, and surprises. The overall theme was "thread" had to be used somewhere on the table decorations. Quilters are so imaginative with so many ways to incorporate thread.
We want to thank you so much to our Christmas Party/Luncheon Committee of Susan Joy Noyes, Pam Kidd, and Lucille Hurley for a most enjoyable time! The time and energy they must have spent dreaming up and preparing all of this has not gone unnoticed; great job girls!
The morning began with members scurrying around decorating tables and then voting on their favorites. There were brief announcements and then time to enjoy the marvelous lunch. After lunch we played a game of Left, Right, Center with spools of thread (we each had to bring 3 spools of thread) and the winner received many, many colors of thread; fun! You will also see pictures in the gallery of us in front of a board with triangle cut pieces of 3 colors of fabric. We have a little time to arrange them into a design and as the timer went off, the next person in line added and/or corrected the pieces. At the end of time we could no longer change anything and the boards were taken home by different members to sew into a block exactly as the pieces ended up.
The completed blocks will be brought to the February meeting and will sewn into one of our Comfort Quilts to be donated.
All members deserve a big thank you as well for their great participation; whether they decorated a table, brought food, played the games, you can see by the pictures in our gallery below the party was great. Members were asked once again to bring food items for the Chino Valley Food Bank and there was quite a lot for the ladies to deliver to the Food Bank; thank you to our members!
How in the world can we out-do this one?
