Show & Tell Galleries - 2018
Please respect the artistry and creativity of quilters and designers. Do not use or copy work, patterns or photos without permission.
No Show and Tell for December because it is our Christmas Party time!
With everyone busy preparing for our Trail of Quilts show, our members showed us more quilts ready for the show and for gifting. Show & Tell participants this month were: Gloria Gillis, Dolores Dickerson, Kathy Victor, Pam Kidd, Brenda Burchill, Patsy Franko, and Joanne Fitterer.
Show & Tell is always great. We get to see the fun and beautiful work of our fellow members. This month we were treated to a Stitch'n Sisters group project; round robin 2017-18.
Kathy Victor, Genny Applebee, Carol Van Horn, Gloria Gillis and Vicki Kay presented many more beautifully finished quilts!

March, 2018 - Show & Tell
February, 2018 -
Joyce Larson, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, presented further discussion on the merits of quilt appraisals. Joyce is a certified AQS quilt appraiser and she showed us many of her quilts and explained what made them more valuable from an appraisers point of view. She also did around 8 appraisals during the rest of the meeting and early afternoon.
We learned a lot from Joyce and those that had appraisals done are very happy with the results. One of the quilts appraised about $4,000.00 and, remember, without that appraisal it is only worth the price of a good blanket.
As usual, some interesting show & tell projects. It's always wonderful to see the beautiful work of our creative and talented quilters.
