October Meeting

​Hello All, 

• Just a reminder that the Guild will meet at 9:30am on October 10th at the First Southern Baptist Church at 1524 N State Route 89 in Chino Valley. Doors open at 8:30 for set-up. 
• We will have 50/50, Show and Tell, birthday drawing, and Block Lotto information on the new block pattern for Oct/Nov “Cottage Garden” by Riley Blake designs. Remember to bring your completed blocks for entry to the drawing next month.

·         Members with birthdays this month are: Karen Brundage, JoAnn Hankey, Pam Kidd, Shirley Luebke, Marilyn Maines, Sally Rosenfeld and Marie Wise. When it is your birthday month, please remember to bring a "quilty" gift of a value of about $10. Also in your birthday month, we ask that you bring a snack and come early for set-up. Please be advised there are set-up jobs that do not require heavy lifting
·         October program is a presentation by the Chino Valley Police Department on how to avoid being a victim of scams. This is a good general information meeting as the scam artists are getting more creative. Please feel free to invite a guest. The program will be before the business meeting so they don’t have to stay for the entire meeting.
